Sherlock Holmes: The Definitive Collection - Arthur Conan Doyle, Stephen Fry

Two things:

"Go on, you drunken vagabond," said the face. "If you kick up any more row, I'll open the kennels and let out forty-three dogs upon you."
"If you'll let one out, it's just what I have come for," said I.

I love sassy Watson. I think people forget that part about him, much like his intelligence, or maybe just plain ignore, given the usual portrayals on more contemporary media, and the contrast with the mysterious genius that is Holmes mind.

Also, I keep laughing at this repeat of Holmes' name opening doors. Lots of friends and respect from strange quarters.
