Onto part five now. That proposal scene, while the same in essence, had a whole different flavour. In the movie it feels like Rhett wins, or doesn't loose. Well, he certainly gets what he comes seeking here, but without her knowledge Scarlett has brought him to his knees, and no question about it. She's just oblivious.
It was also interesting to see Rhett warning Scarlett about her draining morals and virtues in that boat in the storm chat.
Damn it, if you think about it, this is so painful a down slide.
