Someone ought to explain publishers that comparing books to another and then add "for teens" is a sure and fast way of making the average reader roll their eyes and approach with dread. It pretty much equates to "dumbed down" in publishing idiom.
While that's a defined point, the blurb is terrible as a whole. It should be trimmed to it's second paragraph alone. It's the only bit that's informative.
