Review

Took a while to get into the plot. Then it spun around in place. Justified, but not very entertaining.
What I liked was, like always, Eve's progress as a character. I really noticed the change in the tides last volume, but this one made it even more plain: her dreams. Casting the mind back, it's been coming, slowly. And now it's here. And it's so great, that it's been done gradually, that she's growing steadily. That Roberts is having that care.
That's how you make a long runner not flop.
