The MacKinnon's Bride (Highland Brides, # 1) - Tanya Anne Crosby

The kind of story I go looking into the romance genre, and rarely get.

It follows many of the clichés of historical romance, but it's sweet, funny, and does not trip with the ever happening alpha-means-douchebag male-lead gimmick.

It's been a while since I've read one of these and not feel like reaping a character a new one. Will revisit the author.
